First Presbyterian Church, Railway Road, Faisalabad, Pakistan


First Presbyterian Church, Railway Road, Faisalabad was erected in 1902, just after the city of Faisalabad (Lyallpur) was built. Sir. James Loyal, the then governor of Punjab designed the layout of the streets of the Faisalabad in the shape of British flag, The Union Jack. Local landlords, merchants and laborers quickly inhabited the city. First Presbyterian Church Faisalabad is a part of the Presbyterian Church Pakistan.  First Presbyterian Church was built to meet the needs of worship and fellowship of both the community living in the city and also of those living in the adjoining rural areas. Nowadays this is the fastest growing Church the number has grown by 600% during the last 3 years.
