The Sun. It has “burned” for more than 4.5 billion years. It warms our planet every day and provides the light by which we see all the beautiful things around us. Sunlight is necessary for life on Earth. The life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are like sun for our faith, He endured all the violence of people of that time, He sacrificed his life for our sins, stayed in the grave and then He rose up from the dead. Warmth and light of Jesus Christ keeps our spiritual life alive and without Him our spiritual life cannot survive.
The Moon. We see the Moon because of sunlight that is reflected by it. How much of it we see depends on the position of the Moon in relation to Earth and the Sun. The Christianity is like the moon, it does not have its own light but it shines in the dark, because of the light of teachings of Jesus Christ that is showered over the people in darkness. Just remember that this light is for everyone and is not directed towards a particular group or class. To provide max sunshine, it is important that the position of moon in respect of both Sun and Earth should be correct.
The Earth. During the day earth receives light from The Sun directly and at night the light of the sun is directed towards The Earth through The Moon. God gives us opportunity to pray and get blessed directly and while at other times he showers his blessings upon us through The Church.
