Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light”
Food for Thought
Hurricane Candy set in motion in the Atlantic and banged around the Caribbean, killing nearly 70 people and build up into a hurricane as it chugged across the southeastern coast of the United States. Hurricane Candy played havoc in New York and many other cities along eastern coast of USA. The people there are distressed, troubled, worried, anxious and disturbed with their homes damaged, transport blocked, electricity disrupted and cold weather further adding to their misery. At this very time, the people there need support in terms of our prayers, words and in particular material. This is time for churches, congregations, organizations and people to help them physically and materially. For those who are suffering a package of daily necessities along with prayers and good wishes will work wonders. Jesus Christ converted pleasant words into a sustainable promise
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”.
Let us join our brothers and sisters in this testing time and make them feel Jesus Christ is with them to trim down their miseries and sufferings.
