The moon blocked out the sun in a Total Solar Eclipse, Wednesday, November 14, 2012 temporarily turning dawn back into night over parts of Northern Australia and the Southern Pacific Ocean. The Total Solar Eclipse began just after sunrise on Wednesday, November 14 in Northern Australia, exciting spectators who had flocked to witness the Mother Nature’s Great Show. Man has always been curious about rare events that nature presents; try to link it with future, predictions, prophecies and religion. Sometimes curiosity is overwhelmed by urge to predict, resulting in misinterpretation of scriptures. Solar and Lunar Eclipse is one of such natural phenomenon that is linked with superstition.

During Solar Eclipse, the moon stands in between Earth and Sun, thus blocking the light to reach the earth, sometimes this eclipse is total and at other times, it is partial. During Solar Eclipse, the moon start blocking the sun light  while it is designed by God to reflect cool light on to earth during dark hours, while sun is shining at some other part of the world,. We as Church, Community, Good Christians and Good Humans shall always review our perceptions and actions to ensure that we do not block the all the goodness Christianity provides for every human being.

May God Bless You All
