Completely dressed having no place to go

Today while looking at the head stones of graves, I noticed a quotation on the grave of an atheist, “Completely dressed having no place to go”. I thought about the ritual we perform at funeral. We give bath to the body, sprinkle rose water, apply perfume, dress in best new cloths, wrap in new spotless white cloth, put body in a comfortable coffin box and then bury the body in graveyard. What happens afterwards with the body, we all know but we even do not want to imagine. See, what Christianity preaches about the life after death, Jesus Christ Said

“I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am”

Christianity tells us that Christ Jesus has a place for us and all believers, we will dwell with the Lord forever. One may think, where the guarantee that this promise will be fulfilled. As humans when you carry out a business deal, we sign contract on goodwill and reputation of other party, if previous record indicates that party reliable than deal goes on without any real guarantees. Christ Jesus has developed a reliability factor during his life in this world, death and resurrection, now we do not need warrantees or guarantees. We all need to sign a personal contract with Christ our Lord, the contract is available as Holy Bible , we have to ensure we do not breach the clauses of the contract, keeping in view the reliability factor be sure all obligations will be met as promised in the scriptures. Believe me we as Christians have got a place to go, even after death

“For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day”

May God Bless Us All
